If motivation wasnt hard enough tonight

Here i was laying under my truck refitting the repaired pto box when i look up and notice some one had turned my truck around

now i have two options

option 1 remove the winch and fit it to the back of the car or

take the pto box off pull it back to bits and put it back together so the out put shaft is facing the front of the car

any way its all done now i have a winch again and fitted 1 rear axel seal tomorrow night i should be up to where i hoped to be tonight

tomorrow night i should get the other rear axel seal done and the engine mount as long as they come in over night.

i think i might have a broken gear box mount as well and/or a bent bash plate

that should only leave the smaller repairs like broken wires etc to fix

then checking/changing oils
greasing and cleaning
then drive it a bit topless (fun to drive 7 days a week) in the sun to see what else is wrong with it

here is my new engine mount now modded by daz im hoping i carnt pull this one to bits now

apart from one bolt i need to get i think all the repairs are done now including the trailer plug etc time will tell

I droped all the oils, filter and plugs tonight as well think they are due for a change most of the oils still looked ok and no water in any thing which was good. So fill all the oils and give her some grease and i should be able to take her for a drive and give her a much needed spring clean :o

wanted to ask a question with regards to the sale of the CLUB ICON

will it come with an instruction manual/ parts list so that we're not left scouring wreckers trying to find what car each bit came out of???

Update

Im also considering parting out the complete body a chassie and using the complete drive train in my new truck.

or i might just say stuff it, and drive it into the ground till you can not reconise the body????

then again i have plans for more cutting and welding  what to do what to do

I spose i could just drive it more by the end of this week it is going to be my daily driver again for a good while as the 80 is going into the shed 8)

lmao

wait till you see the in car action the last tree i hit i make a commet like F$%$k another tree then after i go through the finish gate Sandy comes up while the camera is still going and saids "what is it with you guys and trees"

that is one of the reasons for wanting to build a new truck 300mm extra wheel base would help. or i could learn how to drive.

maybe i ditch the 80

or get a 45 cab put on the 80 chassie and swap all my running gear over 8)

then take the 80 body to the crusher

very cool adds thanks mate

the only prob is my understanding is to compete your body and chassie must be from matching veichaels. so no 45 cab allowed on an 80 chassie. but you can cut all the mounts off and attach to the origional chassie and alter the wheel base

but now im thinking i might swap the engines including gear boxs etc from the 80 and 40 over to the other for all sorts of reasons.

so a chev powered 80

and a 4.5lt twin cam efi 40 with constant 4wd and weighing a lot less than the 80 MMMMMMMM

but still thinking might do nothing

Daz

Im thinking if Allan can get away with replacing all the rear and front of his chassie (so only the section under his doors remainds standard)with late model wrangler then i should be allowed to put an 80 chassie under mine?
